Group Quality Manager

Location: UK wide, predominantly based in Basingstoke

Salary: Competitive

Hours: 36.5 hours per week Monday to Friday

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Group Quality Manager to join our team; the role of Group Quality Manager is key to ensuring regulatory and statutory compliance, maintaining a strong customer-focus, encouraging operational excellence and promoting a TQM culture throughout Blatchford Group.

The core function of the role will be to drive change and provide leadership to develop and maintain quality systems that meet regulatory and statutory requirements (e.g. ISO, EU and FDA).

Responsibilities of the Group Quality Manager:

* Developing and leading the quality, operational excellence and continuous improvement strategy within Blatchford Group, ensuring it is aligned with the group's overall strategic plan
* Ensuring regulatory and statutory compliance, as the Management Representative and Person Responsible for Regulatory and Statutory Compliance for Blatchford. Examples being: ISO 13485:2016, European Union Medical Device Regulation, FDA 21 CFR Part 820.
* Defining Quality Systems, Procedures and Objectives that support the Quality Policy.
* Partnering with the Directors, Heads of Departments and Managers to create and direct programs to ensure new products address internal and external lessons learnt which will then enhance customer experience and improve organisational performance.
* Building strong quality systems for determining the appropriate infrastructure and resources required to achieve business objectives.
* Promoting company awareness of the Quality Policy, Objectives, Procedures, etc.
* Providing leadership, guidance and support for Quality Managers and Quality Assurance and Control Departments.
* Communicating with Top Management on performance of the Quality Management System.

Requirements of the Group Quality Manager:

Therefore, we are looking for someone who has 5+ years' quality management experience, which includes experience in Quality Systems, and change leadership experience. They will be an excellent communicator, with the ability to negotiate and influence at all levels. They will be a strong and effective leader, as well as being able to work well as part of a team.
