A Primary SEMH School in Southampton are seeking a very resilient full time Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible!

The School:

The school is a specific KS2 school (ages 7-11) which caters for children with an array of Special Needs focusing on SEMH and present challenging behaviour. They also may have associated conditions and disabilities including ADHD, Autism and attachment disorders.

Although this can be a challenging environment to work in, a very confident friendly team thrive to support both the pupils but also one another.

The school run with very small classroom sizes of roughly 7 pupils per class, with a Teacher and 2 LSAs supporting the pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis.

The school also encourage additional training when needed and will enrol you on to their training courses. As well as this, here at Teaching Personnel we offer a wide range of training opportunities all at an extremely discounted rate.

The Role:

The school are seeking a full time SEN Teaching Assistant to start immediately or January at the latest for those with notice periods.

This will be to support on a 1:1 or small group class based work.

The hours would be 8:30 - 15:30, Monday to Friday... but part time hours may still be suitable with job shares.

A minimum of �9.50/hour is offered, with more on offer for the right candidate with the right experience.
