C# Developer working for an education software provider

Salary : �40,000 - �46,000

Location : In the heart of Exeter The capital of South West England

On behalf of the Client I am looking for a developer who has a good understanding of modern design patterns and who can use these patterns along with SOLID principles to guide their design decisions.
If you can implement detailed software solutions and also you are used to making design patterns an explicit part of your design process then please apply!
This Position requires you to be productive with strong guidance on user requirements.
I am looking for candidates who can help other members of the team adopt new practices, notably test automation.
The company is set up for remote working, after a probation period they would be happy to consider for you to work remotely.

Essential for this role:

* Mid-level experience 4 yrs+
* Confident with .NET, C# and SQL.
* Open to sector background but an interest in education software would be beneficial.
* Development potential and excellent interpersonal skills.

As a junior keen to learn new skills or an experienced developer looking to apply new techniques and technologies, we will support your professional development.

Your Working Day could be like this:
Start with a coffee or tea and a catch up with other team members and then at 10am you join the daily scrum stand up.
For lunch you can relax in the kitchen, stroll through one of the nearby parks, work out in a local gym or explore Exeter's lively town centre. Every Thursday join the whole team for Icelandic 'Samr��', a shared informal lunch.
Your work through the day will vary and will include team meetings, contributing to discussions on new or modified features, collaborating with other team members or working on project tasks.
In the afternoon you can get together with other team members for 'Fika', a Swedish tradition of coffee and chat over snacks.

Are varied, enthusiastic and supportive with a wide range of backgrounds and interests, ranging from table tennis to rock climbing via gardening.
