Our client is a leading provider of Teaching and Learning solutions - online and mobile. They bring together in one platform the most important stakeholders - the pupil, the parents and the teacher. This platform is used by more than half a million teachers and pupils in Sweden, Iceland, the UK, Switzerland and Germany. They are looking for a C# Developer to join their team at their head office in Exeter, this role has been created due to growth and this makes it an exciting time to join the organisation.

In this role you must enjoy the challenge of providing a sophisticated real time service for teachers, parents and pupils while making a positive contribution and exploring the latest tools and working practices. The successful candidate will like to work in an agile collaborative environment and will be happy to happy to manage their own workload. You want to progress
your technical skills and share your ideas with the rest of the team.

You will work in a relaxed and flexible working environment in the bustling heart of an atmospheric old city and will attend regular informal lunches with the team.

A Day in the Life:

Start with a coffee or tea and a catch up with other team members and then at 10am you join the daily scrum stand up. For lunch you can relax in the kitchen, stroll through one of the nearby parks, work out in a local gym or explore Exeter's lively town centre. Every Thursday join the whole team for Icelandic 'Samr��', a shared informal lunch.

Your work through the day will vary and will include team meetings, contributing to discussions on new or modified features, collaborating with other team members or working on project tasks.

In the afternoon you can get together with other team members for 'Fika', a Swedish tradition of coffee and chat over snacks.

Essential skills:

- Familiar with tech stack - .NET, C#, SQL
- Mid-level experience (4 yrs +)

Desirable skills:

- Have worked using design patterns and principles
- Experience with Test-Driven or Behaviour-Driven development
- Front end web technologies
- Git or gitflow
- Azure
- Containerisation
- Microservices
