Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside an exceptional school in Newcastle to recruit a passionate Learning Support Assistant to work alongside children and young people with a multitude of Special Needs. Working as a Learning Support Assistant, you will be supporting children in Key Stages 3 and 4, accompanied by a Teacher and other Support Assistants. You will be working with children and young people with a multitude of PMLD such as:
- Difficulty understanding new or complex information
- Difficulty learning new skills
- Not being able to cope independently
- Speech Language Communication Needs
The successful candidate must have experience with some of the following:
- Experience working with people with SEN / Disabilities
- Be confident supporting children an d young people with different types of SEN
- Worked as a Care / Support Worker
- Worked in a Specialist Provision
Teaching Personnel can offer Behaviour Support Assistant's:
- Competitive rates of �275-350 per week, however long term rates can be negotiated on your behalf
