The Client:
Our client is an award winning & thriving International FTSE 100 company based in Central London who are undergoing a digital transformation project and require a Project Manager with application experience (Salesforce, HR, Finance Apps). Based in their prestigious/modern HQ this exciting opportunity requires candidates from a Plc/blue-chip background who can drive/lead and make a positive contribution to the finance transformation programme.
The Role as Project Manager:
Our client requires a strong IT Project Manager to be responsible for the multiple project streams relating to business systems (Salesforce, Finance & Business Applications) and their integration to the wider digital transformation programme.
The main delivery duties will be:
* Manage a full lifecycle of multiple integration projects - Salesforce, Finance & Business Applications
* Definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, ensuring technical feasibility and reviewing and improving processes where necessary
* Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for several initiatives simultaneously
* Meeting with stakeholders to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project - Manage project scope and changes
* Develop and manage all aspects of project engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks and issues - building rapport and credibility
* Identifying suitable communication strategies for all levels of stakeholders
* Coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
* Managing the day-to-day project activities, resources and chairs the Steering committee meetings
Requirements of the Project Manager:
The client is seeking somebody who is dynamic, engaging, has strong stakeholder management skills, is self-motivated and can work independently. In addition to excellent communication skills (written/verbal), you must have gravitas and be able to demonstrate the following:
* 5-10 years commercial IT Project Management experience
* Salesforce experience advantageous - sales & service cloud
* Previous digital transformation experience & exposure to integration platforms - PaaS, Boomi etc
* Prince2 certified
* Agile/Scrum experience
* Strong experience in IT project management
* Leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills
* Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
* Ability to prepare and present documentation to non-IT business people
* Build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus and achieve objectives
* Experience influencing and gaining buy-in from executive's sponsors, team members, stakeholders and peers
* Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
