We are seeking to recruit highly experienced, motivated and flexible RMN to join our rehabilitation and recovery hospital in Fareham, who share our vision for high quality Mental Health recovery services and who want to make a difference.

Uplands Independent Hospital is a Rehabilitation and Recovery service which is situated in Fareham where our multidisciplinary team offer high quality recovery focused care to adults with a range of mental health needs.

We have undergone a �1.1m redevelopment of our Independent Hospital, to provide our Service Users a continuous pathway from Acute Mental Health admissions right through to, in many cases, independent living.

We are providing individuals with practical and emotional care, enabling them to lead as ordinary life as they can achieve.

You will need to be flexible as you are required to work shifts including bank holidays, weekends and potentially sleep ins.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

In your role as an RMN you will support the Deputy Manager Clinical Lead and Deputy Manager Quality and Governance to deliver a high quality person centred recovery approach in line with our Community Services Personalisation Strategy and Uplands Independent Hospital Service Improvement Plan.

You will act as a keyworker, assess, plan, implement and evaluate care planning & risk assessment/risk management safety plans on a monthly basis with residents on admission and at appropriate intervals, providing support to residents with daily living, following support plans and working within the Recovery Model.

You will work as part of the multi-disciplinary team in a hospital setting, ensuring the delivery of holistic, recovery care to all residents, through the supervision of staff at lower grades and in the implementation of the Care Programme Approach.

Adopt a flexible approach to hours of duty in order to meet the needs of the service over the twenty-four-hour period and work flexibly regarding shift changes according to the needs of the hospital.

The Successful Candidate for the role will have:

* NVQ in Health and Social Care or be willing to work towards
*
* Experience in supporting adults with challenging behaviour, learning disabilities and/or mental health issues.
*
* The ability to keep calm under pressure
*
* Confidence to work alone and as part of a team
*
* Excellent communication skills
*
* The passion to work with vulnerable Adults
*
* The desire and commitment to achieve high standards of safeguarding
