Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a client special school in Cardiff that are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant with experience in SEN, specifically autism, to work in their KS1 class for the rest of the academic year. The pupils you will be supporting with a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC) Global Delay, ADHD and Asperger's Syndrome. You will be expected to work between 8:30-3:30. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and show great Initiative and be able to think on their feet. You will be asked to work either within small groups or on a one to one basis dependant on the day. Candidates will be expected to engage the pupils and keep them on task to meet their learning aims and objectives. Team Teach trained candidates would be advantageous for the role however, this isn't essential. Experience working in a relating field will also be considered. We offer a competitive rate of pay ranging from �57.00-�65.00 a day, along with other additional benefits. There are temporary and permanent roles available for the right candidates. -Have experience of working with SEN

-Be Team Teach Trained (desirable)

-Have experience in a relating field: Care, Support work, childcare

-Be happy to tend to personal care

-Have an outgoing personality

-Have confidence

-Show great resilience

-Have good behaviour management skills

-Have a passion for helping others

-Have great patience
