Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a client special needs school in the Didsbury area of Manchester (M20). Due to the new intake of students all with special needs, the school are looking for a passionate and caring Teaching Assistant who is able to provide 1:1 and small group support to a handful of students who need assistance with their day to day routine.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with Special Needs and will have a compassionate attitude towards assisting students with their learning and well being.

If successful, in your new role you will support a handful of students who have a variety of special needs, predominantly Autism. The Head Teacher is looking for someone who has experience of working with special needs and if possible experience with children; however this is not essential as training opportunities are provided.
Optimism and enthusiasm will go a very long way in creating an enjoyable and supportive learning environment for these students.
