A new opportunity has arisen within the Income Team for a Service Charge Officer.

This is a permanent vacancy working 37 hours per week reporting to an Income Team Leader. The salary is �27,511 per annum. The postholder will also receive essential car user allowance.

Responsibilities of the Service Charge Officer:

To be competent in all areas of service charge administration, able to work independently within a busy team and keen to deliver challenging business objectives. To demonstrate excellent interpersonal and business skills, be able to work well under pressure, show attention to detail and be able to prioritise workload.

* To ensure the integrity of service charges to all current and new magenta living stock.
* Responsible for ensuring the service charge estimates and expenditures are accurate, understandable and kept up to date on a yearly basis.
* Provide guidance and advice to other members of staff on the general management of rent and service charge setting.
* Prepare service charge accounts in accordance with and to comply with Statue and leases

* Liaising with other sections, both internally and externally.
* Occasionally meeting customers in their home.
* Effectively maintain records, policies and procedures
* Must be willing to learn, attend training and complete appropriate qualifications funded by the organisation, relevant to this role and other mandatory training applicable to all employees
* Full driving licence and able to use own vehicle for work
* Educated to GCSE standard including Mathematics and English Language.
* Be accountable for your own actions, standard of work and behaviour
* Treat their customers with respect and deliver what you promise, in accordance with the organisation's policies/procedures/processes
* Be adaptable in approach and behaviour, and respond positively to change
* Be a team worker who builds positive relationships across the organisation
