An alternative school (SEMH) in the Liskeard area is seeking a DT Teacher to start IMMEDIATELY

The School is a specialist school which caters for students with mild learning difficulties and for students that have emotional disorders. DT is a popular subject at KS3 and KS4 and the successful candidate will be able to continue the high attainment the school is getting from its students. The role will be 80% DT orientated however there will be an element of Food Technology involved so any experience in Food Tech is welcomed.

The Role

The Position is for a DT Teacher to teach 80% DT / 20 % Food Tech. The position is to start immediately and will run on a temporary basis until December 2019, there may then be a possibility to run until the end of the academic year and possibly a permanent position.

The Requirements;

QTS, PGCE or other UK Teaching Qualification

A Degree in Design and Technology or similar subject

Experience as a DT Teacher to KS3 and KS4

Any experience in Food Technology is ideal.
