IT Support Analyst – York 6-month fixed term contract - £25,000 Client My client is a multi-disciplinary solutions business that provides a full range of services from consultancy, design and engineering to installation and onsite project management. They have extensive engineering capabilities, a substantial portfolio of projects and a leading capability in delivering innovative solutions. Job Role A challenging 6-month fixed term contract opportunity for an IT Support Analyst to assist the IT Operations Manager in delivering an effective IT support service across the company through a period of integration. Operational Accountabilities Include: • Assist in the provision of an IT Management Service to the company. • Ensure the most productive use of IT resources and that existing systems perform to meet production needs.  • Provide support via phone, e-mail and in person to all employees across the 5 office locations. • Provide support to users by handling/logging calls in our call management system. • Ensure all calls are handled in a timely manner and user(s) kept informed throughout in line with IT SLA’s. • Ensure all tickets are followed up and appropriate action taken. • Provide support, advice and guidance on IT matters. • Any other reasonable duties as required • Continual focus on cost savings and achieving value for money. Skills/Experience · IT qualification (Preferred but not essential) · Previous Service Desk/Help Desk experience · Previous experience on IT project support · Previous experience of using/deploying software packages · Team Working. · Demonstrate working/communicating across teams within the company to ensure efficient completion of work. · Attention to detail to ensure task are complete. · Communication skills - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. · Good documentation skills. · Competent at managing your own work and collaborate as a team player. · Sound Understanding of Microsoft platforms. · Working within an agile environment and within a people orientated professional services business. · The ability to Multitask will be key as will track risks, issues and dependencies.
