EA to Chief Risk Officer 12 Month FTC £50K+ City of London A fantastic opportunity for an EA to support a Chief Risk Office with a UK Bank based in the city of London. This role is a busy 1:1 role with additional support to the team if needed. As well as the day to day support you will also be required to support group wide initiatives which may include arranging and organising social events. THE ROLE Manage the efficient and smooth running of all aspects of the Chief Risk Officer’s office, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely fashion Act as the first point of contact for the Chief Risk Officer - gate keeping, screening calls and emails, and ensuring urgent requests are dealt with in a prompt manner Provide effective diary management, arranging meetings/dinners as required and booking meeting rooms/venues Ensure the Chief Risk Officer is well informed of upcoming meetings and papers are provided in sufficient time for preparation. Keep track of documents relating to multiple projects, ensuring they are readily available when required Compose and prepare draft written correspondence for review by the Chief Risk Officer, e.g. responses to letters/emails Forge and maintain effective relationships with all key internal and external contacts. Adopt appropriate approach and level of assertiveness to exert influence and change the course of events when necessary Process expenses and other ad-hoc administrative tasks in a timely manner Maintain clear, systematic and user-friendly hard copy and electronic filing systems Take an active interest in departmental activities and keep up to date with projects with which the Chief Risk Officer is involved Coordinate all travel arrangements and generate personalised itineraries Assist with HR administration, such as performance reviews and arranging interviews Manage personal / ad hoc duties when required Assist Chair of the Risk Committee with arranging her quarterly meetings with various senior members of staff across the Group Provide absence and annual leave cover for other EAs on the executive floor About you Skills & Experience: Essential Ideally you will have worked at a senior level, previously within a financial or professional services company. Excellent written communications skills are needed as well as advanced MS Office and most importantly discretion, diplomacy, and experience with handling sensitive issues.
