Job Summary: Our client based in London is looking for someone to work as part of the HR Systems team, this role will be working to support the Head of HR Systems and the HRIS team in developing, maintaining and enhancing the HR and Payroll systems(s) by providing operational user guidance and support, experienced in systems configuration, analytics/management information and project leading and support. Key Responsibilities : As HR Systems Analyst, you will ensure that HR systems is running efficiently and supporting users. You will also be responsible for implementing new system functionality in collaboration with the HR Systems Manager, including; identifying and meeting analytics needs and requests by the department and users of HR information, scope and build MI reports, manage and ensure data integrity of the organisation structure in the system.In addition, the HR Systems Analyst will implement new systems solutions and functionality, working alongside other team members, supporting and training systems users and resolving user issues.To be successful in this role, you must be adept at creating appropriate training and documenting and reviewing processes, system configuration documentation and user manuals. You will… • To understand the HR and Payroll system(s), and any supplementary modules to such systems • Responsible for implementing new system functionality in collaboration with the Senior HR Systems Specialist and Head of HR Systems; • Manage and ensure data integrity of the organisation structure in the system; Proactively monitor data integrity; • To provide system administration support ensuring that the system is running at optimum capacity; • Identify and meet analytics needs and requests by the department and users of HR information • Produce accurate and professional standard, complex and ad-hoc management information reports to users as required; • Support the Head of HR Systems and work alongside other team members to develop and implement new systems solutions and functionality; • Support the Head of HR Systems and Senior Specialists in ensuring that the software application is understood sufficiently by all direct users to enable them to carry out their allotted work - through adequate and appropriate training and documented procedures; • Induct new users in the correct use of the HR System/s; • Provide, as required, quality assurance assistance in data entry; • Provide advice and guidance on processes and procedures; • Work as part of the team within the department to ensure that the overall aims and objectives are achieved and to provide support to the HR Shared Service as needed; • Undertake any training as deemed necessary; • Undertake any other duties as required for the effective running of the system; • Maintain absolute discretion and maturity in handling sensitive/confidential data; • Assist in the development and implementation of analytics reports and tool; • Test the functionality within reports, rebuild reports and where necessary, make improvements to reports to improve accuracy or usability; Where possible, take advantage of new functionality to improve management information service e.g. scheduling and bursting reports to specific recipients • Assist with the updating of system configuration documentation and user manuals; • Promote equality and diversity as part of the culture of the Movement; • Undertake other duties as required for the effective running of the Department and Mission You have… • Experience of HR/Payroll systems (e.g. iTrent, ResourceLink, PeopleSoft, CoreHR etc) • Experience of report writing using reporting software • Experience of HR and/or payroll processes • Project experience – roll out and delivery of system functionality • Experience with data privacy requirements in an organisation • Excellent IT skills with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel • Experience in training users online, face to face and preparing training material • HR/IT/Business related Degree • Ability to plan and organise multiple priorities • Able to communicate verbally and in writing effectively with people at all levels throughout the organisation • Analytical and problem-solving skills • Accuracy and attention to detail • Ability to meet deadlines • Project management skills You may have… • Experience of the iTrent HR/Payroll system • Experience using Business Intelligence • Knowledge of HR and payroll legislation • Experience of working in the not for profit sector • PRINCE2 (Basic/Practitioner)/ similar • Knowledge of Lean/SixSigma process • Familiarity with SQL / HTML or Visual Basic
