HR Officer It’s not often that an opportunity to change direction comes along, but if a new career in HR is something that you’re considering then this could be a role that could suit you? Similarly, if you have some experience in HR and want to gain experience with one of the world’s biggest companies, then we would love to speak to you. Our very long-standing client has just made available an interim role working within their HR team at their Peterborough facility. You would be providing first line HR support to employees and managers, so an element of customer service experience would be beneficial. What would you do? Provide policy and procedure advice and guidance from employees, supervisors or managers. Updating databases along with validation and processing of HR data Absence process admin Prepare for weekly/monthly payroll activities Provide general administrative support Provide weekly reports to the Finance Department. Provide support for employees Support of various HR training sessions Interface with other HR specialists General administration for the HR Department, including validation of contracts of employment Minutes of meetings - documenting meetings including disciplinary and grievance meetings. What are we looking for? Strong Administrative experience, ideally with an interest or background in HR Experience using Microsoft Office systems including Excel to intermediate or advanced level Great interpersonal/customer service type skills Ideally: A minimum HNC/NVQ level 3 in a business-related discipline HR Related experience Experience of working in a large business environment Experience using a time and attendance management system This is an interim role working through an umbrella company.
