Reporting to the HR Manager, this role will require a confident and articulate Human Resources professional who can effectively represent HR to the business, building solid relationships with key stakeholders and offering expert guidance and support across the employee life-cycle. This is a 1 year FTC position, offering the chance to gain practical experience across all aspects of HR, within a national company with plenty of growth opportunities and a high likelihood of a permanent role.

The role will involve acting as first point of contact for Head Office HR enquiries, supporting with matters such as employee relations, recruitment and reward with the guidance of the HR Manager. You will work closely with wider HR team ensure people matters are addressed and communicated effectively, ensuring a high level of HR service is maintained across the board.

The successful candidate will have gained solid generalist HR exposure (6 months +), ideally in a not-for-profit or charity setting, and will take a hands on approach to tackling tasks. High levels of organisation and strong interpersonal skills are key, as this position will act as first point of contact for all central functions. You will be a confident communicator, able to build effective relationships across the board and have a keen desire to develop your HR career.

Required attributes:

* Computer literacy, able to use the full Microsoft Office package
* Previous experience in a generalist HR capacity (1 year +), ideally in a not for profit environment

* Dedicated and can-do attitude
