Internal Sales Executive Location: Hinckley, Leicestershire (LE10) Salary: £18k- £22k per annum, 6% pension contributions Hours: 0830 to 1700 hrs Monday to Friday, however, requires ability to work flexibly with occasional work outside these times. Job type: 18-month contract. European Thermodynamics Ltd (ETL) is a small, privately owned business, providing thermal management products and solutions to the electronics, automotive, medical and industrial sectors. The company is relocating part of the operations within Leicestershire from Market Harborough to Hinckley. The company has established a credible strength in the area of thermal solutions through its products, technical expertise of the team and research capability and activities. With new products being launched, new brands being established and a growing in-house manufacturing capability there is an opportunity for significant growth globally. The company has made recent digital infrastructure investments and is making operational efficiency improvements by investment in a new ERP and CRM system. This expansion creates an opportunity for an Internal Sales Executive. The role will support the sales team, providing customer service, and will be a general administrative role. You will be acting as a central point for support, maintaining accurate records of the CRM system and ensuring communications and content are relevant and targeted to customers. This is an exciting and varied role office-based role, working across business administration, sales, operations, product documentation, and content/copywriting for technical data sheets and communications, providing a significant opportunity to grow with the company. Responsibilities of the Internal Sales Executive: An Internal Sales Executive is needed to assist with growing the sales and supporting the sales team and supporting logistics with various office administration. The role requires good written and verbal skills, with the ability to adapt and provide good customer service. Maintain high standards of customer service Develop key account management structure and ensure they have regular contact Provide advice and guidance on correct selection of product or services Manage customer interactions in an efficient, timely, and friendly manner Oversee the daily running of enquiries received, logging enquiries, updating, amending, and managing entries to reflect current status Provide first line for customer contact, chat and email support. Greet and deal with customers and visitors. Liase with other team members to ensure current sales pipeline up to date Support and maintain company CRM system Contribute to continuous improvement in sales/marketing literature Plan and organise daily, call logging, and that the weekly sales plan with priorities, goals, and achievement are formulated. Manage varying customer portfolio and increasing line in changing environment Build a pipeline of opportunities in CRM for new business, negotiate and close sales opportunities to ensure sales targets are met Obtain regular customer feedback. Creating and delivering presentations to communicate product portfolio or company information to customers and producing presentations to advice progress against key objectives. Providing internal sales support to external sales staff. Advising and supporting on commercial aspects relating to strategy, risk management, conflict resolution or other key issues for the success of the project Requirements of the Internal Sales Executive: Confident, considered friendly, approachable and customer-focused Office experience, preferably working in sales & marketing environment. Enthusiastic, positive, resilient attitude, to working with customers and colleagues from all levels. Experience in providing detailed quotations, and proposals. Ideally some experience of technical content creation. Excellent communication, written and verbal, presentation, and inter personal skills. Self-motivated, ambitious with high standards, the ability to think creatively to achieve goals and work independently. Good writing and reporting skills. Computer literate and proficient in MS Office software. Knowledge of ERP MS Dynamics 365 / Business Central or Dynamics 365 for Sales / Hubspot would be considered an advantage. A technical background is preferred but must be able to provide evidence of applied customer service or sales. The role may also suit someone with a a marketing or purchasing background. Min. level of GCSE English and Maths Grade C, and preferably educated to A-level standard or equivalent. Further formal qualifications in business administration, marketing or purchasing ideal.
