A truly unique opportunity for an enthusiastic Sales and Marketing Operator to join a fast-growing manufacturing consultancy based in North Yorkshire.

Our client's focus is to enable factories to thrive by becoming better, faster, and more productive. The UK is the 8 th largest manufacturer in the world, but factory Excellence is too often hidden. The business shares operational excellence knowledge with factories of all sizes and supports manufacturers to create self-sufficient, high performing factories.

Over the past 18 years the business has supported more than 120 factories identify in excess of �125m potential improvement, typically improving manufacturing costs by 5-8% year on year. It has also advised on more than 4bn of acquisition deal value.

About the role:

If you're the Business Development Manager we're looking for, you will join a leading UK Manufacturing Consultancy, based in North Yorkshire, servicing the whole of the UK.

Together, we will work with Owners, Managing Directors and Operations Directors to grow and improve their factories - which will in turn ensure the factories survive and thrive and continue to support their local communities.

You will be responsible for:

* Representing the company in front of prospective clients in person, by telephone or written communications.
* Your main goal will be to generate appointments and workshop attendees through sales and marketing activities. These will mainly include Linked-In, Telephone calls, and Networking.
* You will drive the sales and follow-up process, which will include creating and maintaining a database of prospects and clients, follow-up communications with prospects and clients (usually via phone and mail).
* Keeping accurate records of KPIs and maintaining the client database (currently on MS Excel and a CRM System).
