CNC Production Manager Job Location: Poole, Dorset Job Type: Permanent Salary: Excellent Starting Salary (Dependant on experience) Hours: Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 4.30pm A fantastic opportunity not to be missed has arisen for an experienced CNC Production Manager looking for a career working for a flourishing and well-established Manufacturing company, staffed by talented engineers and led by a very experienced Management team - all working to take this company forward in the market as one of the leaders in their field. In this role you will be responsible for the CNC Machine Shop and manufacturing areas where you will be ensuring the company continue to manufacture their products to the highest possible standard whilst meeting customer deadlines. Key Responsibilities: Prioritising, issuing and scheduling work orders for the Machine Shop Production target and KPI management Overall efficiency and productivity of production Quality & Compliance of manufactured products Identification of manufacturing needs for new products in development and existing products Implementing and maintaining best practices and improvements Championing of health & safety and ensuring the implementation around the Machine Shop Recruitment, training and development of staff Person Specification: This position requires the following key skills and attributes: Previous experience as a Production Engineer, Production Manager or Manufacturing Manager within a CNC environment Experience of leading a team of CNC Machinists (Turners & Millers), production and stores staff Excellent communications skills Excellent scheduling and prioritising skills Knowledge of implementing and maintaining quality and compliance across the manufacturing process If this sounds like an exciting opportunity and you would like to find out more about it and if it can be the start of a good career move for you, then please send your CV.
