Key Details: I am recruiting for a GP who will provide high quality primary care general medical practitioner services to the practice population and temporary residents as necessary

Location: Berkshire - within easy access via Train, Bus and Car with Car Park

Salary: �85,000 - �95,000 per annum / �43.58 - �48.71 per hour based on 37.5 hours per week.

Further Details about the Role: As a GP you will be required to make yourself available to undertake a variety of duties as expected from a GP including surgery consultations, telephone (or other) consultations and queries, visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion. Your responsibilities will include screening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness, In consultation with patients and in line with evidence-based best clinical practice developing treatment and any associated care plans. Providing counselling and health education. Review personal development plans and update as appropriate taking account of CPD requirements as related to appraisal and revalidation requirements. Support the team to ensure that prescribing and medicines management is safe, effective and appropriate, conforming to:

* NICE guidance and DH directives
* Good Prescribing Practice as defined by British National Formulary (BNF) guidance from Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain on the safe and secure handling of medicines
* Controlled Drugs legislation
* Shared protocols agreed between the CCG, NHS England and other NHS providers
* Locally specified Patient Group Directions

Person Specification: I am looking for the successful applicant for this GP opportunity to possess Full GMC Registration with licence to practice. UK Registerable Medical Degree. MRCGP or working towards this. Be on a medical Performers List of Primary Care Trust in England. Hold current medical indemnity from recognised medical defence organisation. Hold a full and valid driving licence. Family planning and/or IUCD fitting qualifications or will be willing to undertake. Able to perform minor surgery and/or other enhanced services
