Osborne Appointments are recruiting for a  HR Generalist (Level 5 CIPD Qualified)  to join our client based in Hatfield on a 9-12 month Maternity Cover FTC.

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 (dependent on experience)
Job Type: Fixed Term Contract (9-12 Month Maternity Cover)
Working Hours: 09:00 hrs to 17:30 hrs Monday to Friday, with 1 hour for lunch

Main Duties:
Working closely with line managers, providing daily HR Guidance, improving work relationships and increasing productivity/staff retention

Analysing trends and metrics

Resolving employee relation issues

Addressing Grievances

Providing guidance on HR policies

Looking at training needs and evaluating training programs

Daily HR administration, including database management, reports, and data input for Payroll

Suggesting new HR Strategies

Taking ownership of H&S and First Aid responsibilities

Occasional travel to other sites

PA Support to the COO as required

Key Skills & Experience:
CIPD Level 5

Previous hands-on experience within HR

Outstanding communication skills


High attention to detail

Strong business acumen

Ability to build rapport

Understanding of HR Cycle and GDPR

Knowledge of employment legislation

Strong IT Skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
