Receptionist - FTC 6 months

Salary: up to £ 23 K, DoE

We are looking for an experienced and friendly Receptionist to receive visitors, clients, suppliers and deliveries. As the first point of contact in the business, you would be responsible for ensuring that visitors are warmly welcomed and that their arrival is promptly notified to the relevant department. You would also be answering calls, assisting and transferring calls whilst screening out cold callers. This role is for a 6 months FTC.

What you would be doing:

* Responsible for outgoing post and distribution of incoming post
* Ensuring that the reception area and main meeting rooms are maintained and well-presented
* Keeping stationery and kitchen supplies stock at appropriate levels
* Being first point of contact for bookings of equipment
* Booking taxis and couriers
* Ordering catering / Hospitality for meetings
* Providing Refreshments for meetings when required
* Assisting staff with office queries
* Booking flights and hotels for staff as per quarterly travel plans
* Keeping centralised travel plan up to date

What we are looking for:

* Previous reception experience and experience dealing with suppliers and third-party contractors
* Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
* Excellent telephone manner
* Experience in diary management
* Solid experience in MS Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint
* Highly organised, ability to multi task and strong attention to detail
* Ability to work independently as well as in a team
* A self-starter with experience of working for a growing organisation.
* Proactive, fast learner and have a flexible approach
* Experience in facility management would be a bonus
