Technology Transformation Lead – Camden – 3 Month Contract – �450 per day (inside IR35, Umbrella) – start date ASAP

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Technology Transformation Lead in Camden to manage the transformation of a number of teams with responsibility for Service Delivery, Commissioning and supplier management, information security and Infrastructure. You will be expected to perform at SFIA Level 7, overseeing operations, implementing strategy and inspiring and mobilising all stakeholders.

Your duties and responsibilities will include;

* Plan, implement, control, review and audit Infrastructure, Service Desk and Desktop support provision, to meet customer business requirements, including negotiation, implementation and monitoring of service level agreements, and the ongoing management of operational facilities to provide the agreed levels of service, seeking continually and proactively to improve service delivery and sustainability targets.
* Identify and manage the resources needed for the planning, development and delivery of these services taking full responsibility for budgeting, estimating, planning and objective setting.
* Take responsibility for the overall maturity and capability of the Service Management function, ensuring competent resources are employed and professionally developed and that the best practices applicable are adopted.
* Ensure the incident management and problem resolution functions use information gathered to drive continuous improvement and feed back into the Strategy function.
* Take responsibility and ownership for the control of IT assets.
* In the context of overall Business Continuity, assess the protection, detection, and reaction capabilities, that the ICT service and the business have in place to determine whether they are sufficient to support restoration of information systems in a secure manner, and provide advice/assistance to business areas to maintain business continuity plans at an appropriate level.
* Be responsible for the overall management and control of the operation of formal contracts for supply of products and services managed/ delivered by the function.
* Initiate the preparation of tender documents and take responsibility for the assessment of tenders on the basis of pre-defined evaluation criteria and in accordance with relevant procurement processes and tender evaluation models.
* Maintain the configuration management system, documenting details of all hardware/software items that have been installed, removed or changed so that configuration management records are fully updated and accurate.

To be suitable for this opportunity; the following qualifications or experience is required:

* Special leadership skills needed to handle innovation and change resulting from the implementation of new information and communications technology solutions.
* Strong communication, relationship building, negotiation and influencing skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling the post holder to prepare and present recommendations to all levels of management.
* Expert in understanding the IT/ IS infrastructure and the IT applications and service processes used within the organisation.
* Expert in methods, techniques and tools for planning, organising, resourcing, directing, co-ordinating and monitoring ongoing activities.
* Expert in the purpose and composition of a service level agreement (SLA); the relationship between an SLA, an OLA and an underpinning contract for the supply of service.
* Proficient in methods and techniques for preparing and presenting business cases, requests for proposal (RFP) invitations to tender (ITT) and statements of requirements/ work both orally and in writing.
* Proficient in principles, methods, techniques and tools for the preparation and monitoring of budgets to minimise costs and ensure cost-effectiveness.
* Proficient in the economics of service delivery such as the cost per service line in terms of hardware, software, and manpower used to deliver the service.

36 hours per week. Full time, Monday – Friday
