A rare and exciting opportunity to join a well established, specialist Insurer, heading up a small team of Business Development Executives. The purpose of the role will be to shape and own the sales plan and deliverable actions for the UK side of the business. As you will work closely with the previous job holder, it could suit an individual looking to step up from a Business Development Executive role having gained substantial experience in this field.
Managing the Business Development Team, you will be the lead representative for brokers and broker management, ensuring best practice sales methods are used to achieve financial targets.
An insurance background gained in either Household or Property Owners business is essential, as is an established network of broker contacts across the UK. You must be a genuine team player – prepared to work alongside the Business Development Executives – servicing existing brokers and developing new agencies as well as working on product development.
The role will be home based with significant UK-wide travel and involving 1 overseas visit per year
