Our client is a leading Food Distribution company, and due to continued growth they now have an exciting opening for an enthusiastic and experienced Warehouse Manager.

As the Warehouse Manager you will oversee a team of 8 that is responsible for ensuring customers receive their orders accurately and on time, in a fast-paced environment. The role requires an active "hands on" approach, leading from the front, to ensure the team picks, packs and dispatches all orders of the day.

The company are looking for someone with at least 2 years' experience as a Warehouse Manager with proven team leadership experience, who can bring further knowledge to the day to day running and planning of distribution and all warehouse operations.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for:

* Ensuring that all aspects of the warehouse operations are conducted in a professional and timely manner, in line with the business requirements and policies
* Ensuring customer orders are accurately dispatched to customers within target
* Supervising all the running of the warehouse, Pickers, replenishing, Loading & Unloading, Drivers
* Warehouse compliance to health and safety regulations
* Supervising staff, assigning jobs and keeping the staff responsible, Monitoring staff performance, setting targets, KPi,
* Stock replenishment so orders are always available for picking
* Assisting with the Logistics as required
* Assisting with the loading, route planning and all logistics
* Recruiting, training, and supervising junior warehouse - logistic staff
* Liaising and report to admin, sales and the directors
* Plan ahead, Organise and systemise all procedures

Skills & Experience:

The ideal candidate will have/be:

* Have excellent knowledge and experience of warehouse functions
* Forklift Licence, ideally Reach and Counterbalance
* IT skills with WMS
* Self-motivated, flexible and hard-working
* Pro-active approach to all aspects of work with a keen eye for detail to find new and more efficient ways to improve operations
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Overseeing the loading of all vans, ensuring all vehicles leave on time.
* Understanding of how to manage stock (FIFO) implementing stock control systems.
* Live within an hours commute of N18

This is a permanent full-time position, working Monday to Friday with occasional Sunday working.
