A welcoming secondary school is seeking a Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) from Easter 2020.

Due to a member of staff set to take maternity leave in the new term, there is now an exciting opportunity to join a welcoming staff team and highly successful MFL department please see the details below.

- Full time Teacher of MFL - Easter 2020 or earlier.

- Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent within the UK

- Pay in line with MPS/UPS �24, 373 - �40, 490.

The MFL department is extremely popular amongst pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4, boasting access to state of the art resources within modern facilities. The staff team has consistently received well above national averages in terms of attainment and continues to provide pupils with outstanding student centred teaching and learning. Roles and responsibilities will include but may not be limited to;

- Plan, prepare and evaluate classwork, ensuring all relevant actions are taken to ensure pupil attainment is at the fore front.

- Develop and incorporate pedagogies relevant to the curriculum to inspire all pupils.

- Use relevant classroom management strategies to ensure a purposeful environment for teaching and learning to take place across the school.

- Work in accordance with current health and safety requirements: Governing Bodies, DFE, and Government policies.

The school is located at the heart of Bolton and currently serves just over 600 pupils aged 11-16. Bolton can easily be accessed via the M61 and also an abundance of public transport options readily available with links across Greater Manchester.
