We are currently looking to recruit an Administrator within our Domestic cleaning department on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be required to provide an efficient and effective support service in administration/clerical duties to support the domestic team and managers.

The core hours of work will be Monday - Friday 8am - 12pm, 20 hours per week.

Main ResponsibilitiesMain Responsibilities


Collect and input data into IT systems
Answer the telephone, deal with telephone enquiries and take messages in a polite and professional manner, liasing with Trust staff, departmental supervisors and managers accordingly.
Create and maintain employee databases containing information such as annual leave, appraisals and training.
Preparing and collating data for employee processes such as return to works and appraisals, ensuring staff and supervisors are aware of times and locations of meetings where required
Produce weekly staff mapping for supervisors, liasing with staff and supervisors to fill overtime or sickness cover where required.     
Identifying training needs within the department to liase with supervisors and managers to book on to relevant training courses and communicate with relevant parties  
Photocopying, typing and general filing.
Take accurate minutes in departmental meetings. 
Collating staff timesheets to verify against mapping and submit to Payroll, following up on anomalies where required.                                               

The Ideal CandidateThe ideal Candidate


Previous experience working within an administration role.
Possess good IT skills and use of Microsoft Office, excellent oral and written communication skills and educated to GCSE level in English and Maths.
Excellent inter-personal skills, with the ability to deal with a wide range of people and situations.
The ability to communicate and work with patients, other members of staff and visitors to the hospital.
Ensure that information regarding patients, staff and visitors is secured and not to divulge personal details at any time or under any circumstances.
Flexible  to work across both sites cover different shifts for holidays and sickness
Must be flexible in the duties performed and it is expected that similar duties, not specifically listed above, will be carried out as required and may be cross site.
Adhere to all Trust policies and procedures.
