Fantastic award-winning Gastro Pub based near Gravesend Kent looking for passionate Chef de Partie to join their successful permanent kitchen team, genuine fresh food and creative menu environment. Own reliable transport is essential, no live-in.

Each venue offers the statutory gastro pub classic at the core of its menu, however the opportunity to bring in creative, new modern or classic items is actively encouraged.

The venue works with locally sourced fresh food, offering a range of menu items with various cuisine influences, with some venues offering distinct smoked items at reasonable prices.
Each Chef de Partie works in a genuine award-winning venue where they are nurtured and developed, supported by experienced onsite Chefs and trusted Roving Chef team.

Key Features of the Role:
Chef de Partie is able to carry out the following branded cooking responsibilities and tasks, and be trusted to produce good quality menu items, which you can be proud to serve.
Part of a multi-award-winning gastro pub team using your positive attitude and aptitude to boost the brigade's ability to produce food worthy of its reputation and accolades.
All food is prepared on site using the best ingredients, using carefully sourced suppliers, so you will need to treat each dish created with the same level of respect and passion.
Assisting the kitchen team in all aspects of food preparation and service, helping the team to achieve high food standards, repeat business and excellent hygiene targets.
Working full time 5 days per week as a Chef de Partie, covering straight and split shift work patterns as the kitchen team requires.

Knowledge and Skills Required:
To be successful in this role you will need to be an accomplished Chef de Partie.
Worked in a similar Gastro Pub or restaurant-based environment full time, and able to work both straight and split shifts in a busy kitchen environment.
Either professional catering qualification or certificates would be ideal, however proven employment tenures and career development will be considered as an alternative.
Experience in a fresh food preparation and cooking is preferred, however consideration will be given to Chefs wanting to make the step up from 50/50 frozen food service.
Passionate attitude able to show a positive attitude in the kitchen, as you may be asked to step outside of your comfort zone, to learn new dishes, techniques and cuisine influences.
Must have your own transport to get to site as there are no reliable public transport links.

What's on Offer?
The Chef de Partie role pays �19K - �21K as a basic annual salary.
Tips (on average �80 per week) and Staff Loyalty Bonus Scheme.
Full time permanent working hours of 45 per week, 5 days per week, 28 days holiday.
