Position: Area Sale Executive

Location: Cambridge

Salary: uo to £22,000 plus Commission, Company car or Allowance

Superb opportunity for a strong sales professional to join a multi-national business and leaders in their field, are you the right calibre? do you have the drive and motivation? This role is all about Pipeline, Forecasting and winning contracts. Can you sell? Have you sold contracts? If so please read on.

To be successful within this role it is essential that you have a proven track record in New Business field sales and/or commercial activities, together with a proven track record of building a New Business pipeline of potential opportunities to further generate and exceed a given sales target.

An excellent knowledge of the sales cycle is required, together with exceptional networking and negotiation skills. In addition, you will have strong presentation skills and possess outstanding verbal and written communication ability. You will be a self-starter with competent IT skills.

The Role: This role is all about working autonomously however with the desire to open doors, create meetings and sell the service offering that my client offers. Covering a good size region and targeting a spread of clients ranging from - SME`s, Facilities Management companies and numerous other businesses. The value sales order ranges from £500 up to 50k it`s all dependent. Sales cycle can be between 1 appointment and 1 month plus longer, so the pipeline is key. The role will require cold calling, business appointments, research and reporting into a sales manager and understanding the business operation.
The Ideal Candidate: You will need to be naturally hungry and have genuine appetite for winning sales. My client will need to see this drive, and hunger from you and will not accept anything less. this is target orientated based on new business wins with a small amount of account management. You will need to demonstrate a maturity that highlights you have covered a geographical region and can work from a home office
