Hours of Work: 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday

About the Company:

PromoVeritas are a fast-growing independent marketing agency, that specialise in running promotions for some of the biggest companies in the world. We ran the Cadbury's "white chocolate creme egg" instant win, conduct vote management for Eurovision, support Amazon's global 'DeepRacer' programme and O2's priority moments loyalty scheme. Every day we help our client create amazing, award winning marketing promotions in over 80 countries.

The company has 35 employees and you will be joining the new business team. On a day to day basis you will be advising clients on the best ways to run their promotions in a legal and sound manner. Engaging with new prospects to win new promotional work. Delivering presentations to major companies marketing teams and managing a portfolio of clients. You will be expected to hit a gross margin target through new and existing business as well as support your team to hit your share of the team's target.

There is a comprehensive induction programme that will give you plenty of time to learn the role. You will have 3 months without a target, with plenty of support, after which there will be a limited target for another 6 months. You will be accompanying your line manager and others to meetings, receiving one-to-one support and have a personalised training curriculum.

Client Development Associate Responsibilities:

* Win business from new and existing clients to hit a sales target.
* Be responsible for delivering a high level of service to a portfolio of clients.
* Understand complex laws and regulations surrounding marketing and be able to explain to clients how these apply to their promotions.
* Delivering presentations to major companies marketing teams.
* You will be expected to make between 20-30 "warm" and "cold" calls to both pre-existing clients and new prospects to search for additional revenue generating relationships.
* Half of your time will be spent talking to contacts from the client development team which will lead to writing detailed bespoke proposals, meetings about projects and maintaining regular contact with the client to ensure the projects proceed well.
* A quarter of your time will be spent on new business, focusing on clients that already know of PromoVeritas and you will remain in regular contact so as to keep yourself updated on their upcoming potential projects.
* A quarter of your time will be spent on learning and personal development which will enable you to become a subject matter expert on the laws and regulations for promotions.

Client Development Associate Requirements:

* At least 2 years' experience in a client relationship sales or consultative role
* Strong presentation skills
* Excellent English writing and verbal communication skills
* Highly organised and able to prioritise workload to fulfil strict deadlines
* IT Literate
* Focus on attention to detail
* Willing to pick up the phone and make active sales calls
* An interest in marketing
* Be a good critical thinker who is able to foresee
