We are seeking a capable and experienced Band 6 Deputy Ward Manager to join the Day Surgery team team at our client's Acute Hospital site based in Central London ( Travelcard Zone 1 ). This role is within easy reach of TfL and National Rail services.
The Unit is open Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 20:00 treating 10 - 16 patients per day.

An established charity-status centre of excellence for over 160 years, the Hospital has 60 inpatient beds, including level three Critical Care and a state of the art Operating Theatre complex.
The DSU undertakes General Surgery, Hernia Repairs, Breast Surgery, ENT, Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, Urology, Oral, Maxillo-facial, Orthopaedic, Vascular, Cosmetic Surgery and Laser Surgery.

Person requirements
Registered Nurse with full NMC registration.
A minimum of three years post-registration Day Surgery or Surgical Ward experience
Experienced in taking charge of the ward and acting up for the Ward Manager in their absence
Exceptional clinical, organisational and communication skills.
