Sodexo have a great opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to join an exciting new account - Quilter!

The Finance Manager will take complete ownership of driving P&L improvements, educate and support colleagues by providing first class information to the contract leadership teams and clients.

You will be the principal Finance support to the Contract Account Director and Finance Lead for the account.

The Finance Manager will have a collaborative approach, great communication skills and ideally be working towards a professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA). You will be great at managing short deadlines, have great attention to detail with high quality output and deliver timely and accurate month end results and supporting analysis.

Main Responsibilities
Manage the contract invoicing process for both core & reactive charges for UK & Ireland including the maintenance of the invoice tracker to check the status of invoices & ensure smooth & efficient cash flow process.
Liaise with Account Management team & Management Accountants to improve contract & team performance.
Effective use of SAP to assist in highlighting any issues or risks which may impact the successful delivery of the contract.
Providing information feeds to Sodexo Connections and leading the provision of client reporting.
Tracking of the PO numbers to ensure effective billing processes.
Responsibility for collating the monthly site returns from Account Managers & preparing the income accrual journals for posting.
Month end journal preparation including accruals & prepayments, reallocations and transfers.
Assist with the catering P&Ls for site.
Develop & maintain effective financial processes & reconciliations across the contract.
Assist in developing monthly performance reporting.
Update and maintain the Monthly Agency Labour report.
Manage the GMP pricing model file and ad-hoc billing backup, submitting each month to the client
Dealing with client and supplier invoicing, basware and cost centre queries
Ensure monthly goods receipting is completed including managing the open purchase order reporting
Review SAP and run reports
Manage maintenance contract and WIP log file, creating monthly journals

The Ideal Candidate
Proficient in Microsoft packages particularly Excel
Proficient in reporting and analysis methods
Attention to detail & accuracy is essential
Ability to work on own initiative & to be proactive
Aptitude for numerical work & analysis
Excellent communication skills
Previous experience in a finance role
Working towards a professional accountancy qualification preferred (ACCA / CIMA / ACA)
Resilient, determined and able to work flexibly and proactively
Competent at planning and able to manage short and medium-term deadlines and competing priorities
Positive, professional and articulate
Able to innovate to deliver sound information
Able to work collaboratively
Relationship building with colleagues from site level to Account Leads and with finance teams
