Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire

Contract Length: 6-month initial contract

THE COMPANY

This is an opportunity for a Vehicle Builder to work for a successful company which is trailblazing the development of a wide range of products and solutions that will have a positive impact and enable a more sustainable railway. This company overs a wide variety of services within the Rail & Rolling Stock industry and plays a vital role in the design, maintenance and repairs of units, carriages and components used daily right across the UK.

THE ROLE

You will be working as a Vehicle Builder making modifications to old and new trains alike before they go into service. You will be a skilled Vehicle Builder with previous experience of performing interior refit including modifications to various components such as seats, body panels, grab poles and luggage racks. Your Vehicle Builder skills will include stripping and rebuilding the interior of rolling stock, buses, coaches to install new and improved parts and give the trains an updated modern feel for the customer.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

If you are an experienced Vehicle Builder with extensive work history in rolling stock, please get in touch. If you have an interior vehicle building background working on buses, coaches, aircrafts, motorhomes and emergency/ armored vehicles, you will also be successful at this role. You will be aware of the Health & Safety procedures to follow in a Safety Critical environment. You will need to show high level understanding of interior vehicle building/ coachbuilding and a possess a solutions-based approach.

THE REQUIREMENTS

A proven background in engineering with a mechanical discipline and Vehicle Builder experience. You must also have a Level 3 engineering qualification / full apprenticeship or equivalent. You will be required to undertake and pass a medical / drug and alcohol test.

Monday - Friday (days)

�18 - 21 per hour
