The Client

Our client is a leading firm for delivering environmental services across the industry. The firm provides a full range of environmental services for local government, housing associations, universities, schools, national retailers, NHS trusts, the hotel and leisure industry, demolition and construction companies, manufacturing, logistics and commercial businesses.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments and producing schematic drawings, reports and reviews, as well as identifying appropriate recommendations in line with the scope of works. Other responsibilities will include developing an internal team of multi-skilled consultants to become competent Legionella Risk Assessors, development of internal processes, advancing the internal Legionella Management systems, client liaison, adherence to L8 procedures and involvement with writing method statements and quotations and undertaking audits.

Skills and Experience

The successful individual must have a minimum of three year's experience of undertaking Legionella Risk Assessments, along with a relevant qualifications and the following attributes:

Must be fully conversant with water treatment and the health and safety procedures

Good communication skills both written and verbal

Good organisartional, coaching and client facing skills

Ability to work within the team and under own initiative

Flexible approach to working hours (travel to other offices may be required as a minimum)

Full driving licence

Salary is negotiable per annum dependent on experience and qualification. In addition, benefits include a company car, company paid healthcare (long service award applies), company pension and 22 days holiday (long service award applies) plus 8 statutory bank holidays.

The successful candidate shall also be given the opportunity to undertake further qualifications and the opportunity to develop within the role and within the company
