Are you an experienced Quality Assurance professional looking for an exciting new opportunity?

We are currently looking for a QA Officer to join a leading healthcare company based in Stirlingshire.

As the QA Officer you will be responsible for helping to administer the Quality Management System and helping ensuring it adheres to GxP activities and ISO standards This role is involved in the completion of internal audits, maintenance of the standard operating procedures and reporting of complaints and serious incidents to the customer as well as looking at opportunities for continuous improvement.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the QA Officer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Maintenance of the ISO 9001 and GMP/GDP Quality Systems including training of staff in SOP's, non conforming product investigations and management of deviations.

2. Provide high standard of administrative support to enable the Quality Department to work within a framework of continual Quality Improvement and assist in creation of monthly quality business reports and assessing compliance to KPIs as required by the Quality Director.

3. Manage all aspects of Serious Incident Requiring Investigation (SIRI) investigation including follow up of QA tickets to ensure completion prior to Quality Director sign off.

4. To investigate, resolve and report corrective and preventative actions (CAPAs) as required, including logging and investigation of complaints and equipment issues using the QA ticket system, and provide assistance in management of ISO /GMP/GDP audits and creation of records as required and where appropriate external audits for suppliers.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the QA Officer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a Science related discipline.

2. Proven industry experience in Quality Assurance and excellent knowledge of the ISO 9001 management system.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with GMP or GDP is desirable.
