What you will do
This position is involved in all aspects of statutory accounting and is a key role for the Country Financial Services function in UK&IE. This position involves the preparation of statutory financial statements, notes and reporting (FRS102) as well as CFS reconciliation of General Ledger accounts. The role also provides support for the annual corporate budgeting process.

How you will do it
• Reconciliation from US GAAP accounting to FRS102 financial statements
• Preparation of annual financial statements incl. Appendix and management report
• Account assignment of closing entries / monitoring of orderly booking
• Overview of Assets / Liabilities General Ledger Accounts
• Implementation and coordination of external audits
• Central contact for the auditors and the tax department for entities under responsibility.
• Balance sheet reconciliation for certain accounts on a monthly basis
• Reconciliation of intercompany billing / recharges
• Reconciliation of asset accounting
• Determination of provisions and accruals
• Preparation of various evaluations for costs by type or cost centers
• Creation of / support for statistics reports
• ERP systems Oracle and SAP desirable
• Close cooperation with the Bratislava Business Center
• Sound experience in the preparation of annual financial statements under FRS102
What we look for
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent education and experience
• Extensive post qualification accounting experience
• ACCA / Certified Public Account (CPA)/ or progress toward certification
• Thorough knowledge of US accounting theory and its application in practice
• Proven ability to prepare account analyses and reconcile accounts
• Computer competency in the client-server environment using a wide range of application software
• Excellent communication skills and customer focused approach
• English: fluency required both written & spoken
• Ability to work independently
• Experienced user of Excel

• Familiarity with problem solving and process improvement techniques
• Ability to manage projects and see them through to implementation
• Ability to work well independently and work well in a team setting
