Purpose of Role:

The PPC executive is responsible for supporting the PPC Manager in the strategic planning and effective management of all Paid Search and Shopping activity for their market – this involves meeting targets and ensuring all KPIs are met.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Performance: Ensuring all KPIs are met daily
• Strategies: Identifying new opportunities and developing new initiatives to exploit these.
• Testing: Initiating, reviewing and optimising ad copy and landing pages – sharing insights with relevant stakeholders.
• Forecasting/Pacing: Providing recommendations and ensuring correct budgets/levels of spend.
• Technical: Ensuring tech hygiene and accuracy (tagging, business data, feeds etc.) and liaising with Product team to develop and implement new solutions.
• Reporting: Creating comprehensive analysis that can be shared internally and/or externally
• Innovation: Keeping up to date with latest trends and developing/testing new methodologies
• Personal development: Workload management and mentoring of PPC executives and other team members.
• Executing additional tasks in order to meet departmental project-related or development and change objectives.


a) Knowledge
• Degree level qualification in Marketing, Maths or Social Sciences (Desirable)
• Fluent in English, German or Spanish
• Strong knowledge of automated bidding solutions (Essential)

b) Experience
• Hands-on PPC experience (Client-side or Agency) working on complex accounts
• Significant experience with ad management platforms (SA360, Marin, Kenshoo etc.)
• An ardent follower of the “test, measure, learn” approach
• Running international campaigns (Essential)

c) Skills
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
• High level of numeracy and can demonstrate an ability to fully take in and understand data
• Strong communication and engagement skills with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders
• Self-starter; must be proactive with minimal direction across data analysis and task delivery
