Our client is a dynamic organisation providing innovative and effective solutions for those with complex needs. They are a registered Housing Association providing accommodation, outreach support and a wide range of other support services. Supporting customers with mental ill health, learning disabilities, addictions and those who have been sexually exploited, or have been within the criminal justice system to live more fulfilled lives.

Human Resources Officer

Contract: up to 12 months Maternity Cover

37 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

The organisation are looking to appoint an experienced Human Resources Officer who has a minimum Level 5 Intermediate Certificate in HR Management or equivalent CIPD qualification and is a member of CIPD and has up-to-date knowledge of employment law.

The role requires someone who has experience of managing and supervising staff. You must have excellent oral and written communication skills, good organisational and planning skills with the ability to negotiate and influence others. You must be resilient, self-motivated with a can-do approach and have knowledge, skills and experience of working on Microsoft word, excel, email and the internet.

The role requires flexibility as a requirement of the post will be to lead and attend recruitment fairs which may occur at weekends and/or evening. You must be able to drive and have your own transport.
