Job description

* Co-ordinate the Industrialisation activities required to facilitate a smooth transition from design the project.
* To manufacture, ensuring through life support requirements are considered during all phases of
* Manage all aspects of product introduction including technical, administration and budgetary requirements, from design to production and ensuring compliance with cost, quality and lead-time objectives.
* This is a Project Management role, responsible for the matrix management of cross functional activities including but not limited to; Operations, Engineering and Supply Chain;
* Will be responsible for the agreed budgetary costs associated with New Product Introduction; Cross functional matrix management; This will be based in Pitstone, however, may be required to travel to support business needs or project requirements;
* Responsible for the management and delivery of projects, on-time, on-cost and on-quality;
* Manage where required, concurrent engineering; Ensure the correct processes and procedures are managed and projects follow the agreed business governance;
* Manage where required, concurrent engineering;
* The product should meet the technical specifications, industrialisation requirements, product reliability and cost;
* Responsible for the management and delivery of projects, on-time, on-cost and on-quality;
* Industrialise product including training and organisational development
* Risk management of design through to full production
* Define technical solutions, specifying manufacturing equipment. This will extend to drafting requirements documents and support the supplier selection process
* Ensure effective coordination between internal and external stakeholders (progress reviews, interaction, validation, etc)
* Execution of project plan
* Project closure - provide feedback on ROI and / or attainment of performance targets to support future investment projects

Candidate skills & requirements Knowledge:

* Experienced in cutting edge manufacturing technology (Factory 4.0) and processes
* Knowledge of the markets associated with industrial facilities and integration processes
* Proficiency in project management techniques, expression of needs, timeframes, specifications, etc and associated Project Management tools (Prompt, Gantt, 6 Sigma, etc.)
* Knowledge of HSE requirements with respect to plant equipment

Skills and Attributes:

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Proven management experience, ability to mobilize a team
* Ability to work cross-functionally and with external stakeholders
* Good time management and adherence to deadlines
* Good commercial knowledge and financially aware
* Need to be able to work autonomously and be self-driven
* Performance management
* Experience of managing cross functional project teams who are not direct reports

Evidence of written English at interview stage. This will be through providing certification of a formal English or technical qualification studied in the UK or overseas in English. If this cannot be provided you will be required to complete and pass an online SHL English comprehension test as part of the interview process.
