If you are, then we have a fantastic opportunity to become a Brand Ambassador for the City of Bradf ord and become a Bradvocate!

Bradvocate: A person who has a passion for Bradford city centre and the wider district, has a determination to see the city centre thrive and who is committed to going the extra mile to achieve a

cleaner, safer, busier and better promoted city centre.


To patrol the Bradford Business Improvement District (BID) area daily providing a strong and informed visitor welcome and provide a regular pattern of interaction with city centre businesses. To ensure all environmental issues are reported through the correct channels i.e. cleanliness, damage and disrepair, graffiti, flyposting, begging and other such low level anti-social behaviour. To assist the BID Manager and Project Officer and BID Operating Board in delivering the aims and objectives of the Bradford BID Business Plan.

We have three posts available working 30 hours per week over 6-hour shifts. The shift pattern will include weekends and some Bank Holidays as required to meet the needs of the Business. Operational hours are Monday to Sunday, typically 08:00 – 18:30 hours although there may the requirement for occasional late-night coverage in line with seasonal events and Night Watch Scheme projects.

In return you will receive �10.00 per hour (subject to an annual review). It is expected that additional overtime hours will be on offer from time to time as the customer requires.
