THE COMPANY

I'm extremely excited to be representing a global organisation that manufactures and supply electrical connectors. My client was first established 76 years ago and is now turning over �250million with 3000 employees across the globe. With a global presence and a fine reputation for quality products, this business continues to grow. Due to increased customer demand the business is looking to expand the sales team by adding a further field sales engineers to the team.

THE ROLE

As a Field Sales Engineer your role will be as follows:

* Covering the Midlands, Leicester, Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Coventry
* Selling through OEM's and three specific distributors.
* Your main focus will be on growing and developing existing business with core OEM customers.
* Bringing at least �150,000 worth of new business to the company through growing a relationship with your new and existing accounts.
* Spending 4 days out of the 5 conducting customer visits.
* Building and maintaining a functional relationship between the business and OEM accounts.
* Growing the business within the test and measurement, and the aerospace industry.
* Analysing key accounts, you need to spend most of your time and focus with.

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal Field Sales Engineer will have

* Ideally 3 to 5 years sales experience within engineering and manufacturing
* Qualifications within mechanical or electrical engineering
* Good organisation skills
* Strong Development Skills
* A drive for success
