Warehouse Team Manager

Location: Britannia Road, Waltham Cross, EN8

Working Hours: 45 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Sunday to Thursday 12pm to 9pm.

Salary: �24,000 - �28,000 per Annum, Depending on experience

As a family business with a passion for fresh produce, Reynolds is a leader in the UK distribution of fresh fruit, vegetables, dairy and cheese. Our headquarters is based on the outskirts of London, in Waltham Cross, and with depots around the UK.

The purpose of this Warehouse Team Manager role is to effectively manage all aspects of the warehouse function ensuring legal compliance is achieved and company policies are followed in health and food safety.

As a Warehouse Team Manager, you will drive your team to perform to the highest standards monitoring absence, productivity performance and errors. You will also be identifying ways to keep them on track and focused to achieve their targets.

The ideal Warehouse Team Manager, will be responsible for driving the team forward to success, be confident in leading and developing people along with providing operational support.

The Warehouse Team Manager, role will involve:

* Lead and engage the teams, managing them fairly and consistently, in a way that drives the company culture and supports our vision and values
* To provide resource solutions ensuring that Warehouse activities support operational and customer requirements.
* Checking and ensuring the safe and effective deployment within the team
* Ensuring that Health and Safety requirements are adhered to, to provide a safe working environment
* Making recommendations and improvements to the way the team operates
* Managing performance, attendance, conduct of team
* Conducting new employee training
* Ensuring full coverage of each role within the team and to achieve targets set for the team
* Supporting in the company's warehouse operation is organised, monitored and controlled correctly and that the resulting procedures and standards are implemented and managed consistently.
* Quickly and efficiently record and report any safety incidents that may arise.
* Addressing issues such as disciplinarians, grievances, absences, probations etc.
* A split role between process management and people management

To be considered for the role you will need to be able to demonstrate:

* Proven successful experience of coaching, developing and leading others
* Excellent communication, problem solving skills and customer focus
* The ability to work to tight deadlines using your own initiative and within a team
* Flexible approach and self-motivated
* PC skills including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Excel and ERP System knowledge would be a distinct advantage
* Effective inter- departmental communication knowledge and skills
