We are now looking for a Retail Catering Manager to work onsite at one of Levy UK’s prestigious client site’s based in Wimbledon. As a Retail Manager you will be used to high volumes in fast paced environments. You will be responsible for the management of our high-volume multiple retail outlets during our busy period and you will also support team facilities (Media, Client, Staff). In addition you will also be responsible for setting the direction of the team and the Staff Restaurant all year round.

Main ResponsibilitiesAs the Retail Catering Manager your main responsibilities will be:-

Create a development plan for our offers that is aligned to the strategy in preparation for the master plan.
Understanding and spending time in the high street looking at trends and concepts, to create offers and product ranges that are in line with market trends and can work both in a single unit and multiple units across the estate
Work with other departments to develop offers and implement them into the business
Ensure all spaces are resourced in a way that exceeds the customers’ expectations yet maintains the agreed margins
Create an SOP for each offer to include the visual
Ensure all managers and staff understand the expectations, are trained and constantly deliver in line with the SOP
Commercially accountable for all aspects of the outlets, actively working with financial colleagues to deliver accurate and timely forecasts, budgets and P&L’s
Analysis of performance statistics to identify opportunities for growth and product development
Ensure that all units have a look and feel that fits with the offer and Wimbledon ethos
Regular monitoring and development of each outlet to include ‘look and feel’, food quality and presentation, staffing reviews, stock and hygiene checks.
Ensure all activities are aligned with the Levy Retail core signature framework
Support your Line Manager in ensuring all operational and variable labour activities are within budget.
Identify and meet the needs of colleagues and our customers, focusing on initiating and welcoming contact and communication whilst striving to deliver first class customer service.
Recognise potential complaint situations and make effective steps to avoid and/or resolve these situations.
Analysis of consumer mapping to devise and execute appropriate queue management systems
Identify, implement and evaluate the training and developmental needs of staff within your area of responsibility, give appropriate feedback and actively show interest and involvement in training activities for all employees whilst looking for opportunities to further develop individuals.
Ensure understanding, awareness and compliance with all of the Company’s security, stock control, loss prevention and key holder procedures, understanding accountability and consequences.
Take reasonable care for the Health and Safety of him / herself and other persons who may be affected by their acts or omissions at work.

The Ideal Candidate
Confidently able to manage a multi-million £ turnover within a mixed portfolio of outlets across the estate
Multi-site / outlet management essential
Senior management presence to engage with peers and functional specialists, so that all are focused on delivering a consistently great product.
Positive and passionate focus on food – a natural passion for  food and hospitality
Experienced in leading the implementation of change programmes to deliver operational benefits.
Comfortable working within brand guidelines to deliver results
Experience in fast paced multiple food and retail outlets
Excellent communications skills – able to influence at all stakeholder levels
Experience of working with a varied client group
Previous P&L accountability and strong financial acumen
Demonstrates flexibility and agility
Calm and structured approach, coupled with resilience and problem-solving skills
Entrepreneurial spirit
