Secondary school in Newport

The Role

A large secondary school in Newport is looking to appoint a full time media teacher to start ASAP (as soon as fully vetted). The role will be to teach GCSE and A-Level media with full teaching responsibilities. It is to cover a maternity leave so the role will continue through to the end of the academic year.

The School

The school is a large new build school in Newport located close to J24 of the M4 with good access from Newport and surrounding areas. There is a local bus route that passes the school for those on public transport. It has outstanding facilities such as state of the arts sports grounds. There is a strict behaviour policy in place to ensure a positive teaching environment.

The Candidate

The ability to teach KS3, KS4 and KS5 Media is desirable but the school will accept a teacher with another subject specialism as long as confident to teach media. Newly qualified teachers and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply. Good behaviour management is desirable. The pay is paid to teacher pay scale.
