Innovation Officer

Location: Liverpool, Sefton and Wirral

Salary: �28,560 per annum

Job Type: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Our client is an innovative not for profit housing organisation, based in Liverpool. They own and manage 2,800 homes across Merseyside and are keen to grow by providing more new homes over the coming years. Their team of 80 employees, working alongside our partners, provide excellent services to our customers delivering on their key aim of 'putting customers and communities first'.

Responsibilities of the Innovation Officer:

As an Innovation Officer your role will be to deliver innovative business improvements in developing, promoting and continued proper usage of their housing management systems and ways of working. You will also project manage, create and drive business improvement changes to our key systems, looking for opportunities to streamline processes, innovative in working practices and embed new ways of working across the business to transform services and improve the customer experience.

Requirements of the Innovation Officer:

* Having worked in a RP, not for profit or public sector organisation, for at least 2 years.
* Experience of using QL or other housing management systems
* Experience of understanding operational processes and translating them into workflow system processes.
* Excellent ICT skills and knowledge of housing management system and its design/processes.
* Knowledge of customer insight usage and journey mapping methods.
* Knowledge of how projects link together to ensure solutions benefit the company as a whole.
* A Level standard or equivalent level of work experience

Desirable:

* Knowledge of the social housing environment and its key operational aims
* Good understanding of QL/Aareon systems
* Demonstrable experience of implementing or using systems to improve performance, usability or customer experience.
* Proven experience of business improvement processes, e.g. lean
* A clear understanding of the role of ICT in service delivery.
* Good understanding of best practice in customer services.
* Knowledge of project management practices, e.g. PRINCE2
