Teaching Personnel are recruiting for an SEN TA within the Ely area to work alongside an SEN pupil in KS2 during the afternoons on a 1:1 basis, this role would start after the Easter break and would be a permanent role.

You would be required to support the pupil during the afternoons of the school day (12.30-3.15) this would be perfectly suited to a candidate who has prior engagements during the morning of the school day. The pupil in question has MLD therefore prior experience within this area of SEN would be hugely beneficial.

You would be required to offer support to the pupil with their school activities, this would involve but may not be limited to- learning support - behaviour guidance and aiding the pupil to build strong relationships with the school teachers and his peers. You would also be required to monitor the progress and development of the pupil and report this information back to the class teacher.

The ideal candidate:

* Qualified Teaching assistant
* Experience with SEN
* Experience working with pupils on a 1:1 basis
* Safeguarding training
* Enhanced Childs DBS on the update service
* Flexibility in terms of transport
* Uk address and right to work
