Clinical Lead - Permanent - Full Time - Lincoln - �38,000 per annum + benefits

A personable, friendly home is seeking a Clinical Lead to join their team providing a person-centred approach to their residents. With many of the residents having lived at the service for over 20 years, you will be joining a team who have excellent rapport with the people they support and their family members/carers.

You will need to be a Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with learning disability experience. You must have an active NMC PIN. A proven track record of leadership in a clinical environment is paramount, as is a positive outlook on life and passion to care for others. Due to the location of the home, access to your own transport is essential.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading, managing, mentoring and coaching a team of employees and volunteers. To include regular supervision, performance management and appraisal.
- Acting as a named nurse to residents, ensuring the philosophy of personalisation and coproduction is central to the process in order to ensure social inclusion and people reaching and maintaining their full potential.
- Supporting the development of empathic and compassionate relationships with residents and carers and to implement a multi-agency approach ensuring that resident's lead their own person-centred review at least every 6 months.
- Leading on setting, monitoring and evaluation of standards of care and clinical audit, and contribute to the clinical governance processes in line with company policies and procedures.
- Ensuring that each resident has an individualised, person centred support plan/ risk management plan / health action plan prepared under the direction of the multi-disciplinary team and/or care co-ordinator, which provides for both the long-term and immediate needs of the resident and includes a specific programme of therapeutic activities.
- Ensuring that Positive Behaviour Support plans are implemented and where necessary make arrangements for more specialist support.
- Providing information to CQC, quality assurance, environmental inspection, pharmacist inspection and student nurse educational audit to assist them during the audit process.
- Demonstrating responsibility and leadership for promoting and championing all aspects of equal opportunities by valuing diversity in all areas of work.

This is a full time, permanent position paying �38,000 per annum + benefits. The role is located in Lincoln.
