We are currently looking for a Product Surveillance Co-ordinator to join a leading medical devices company based in the Buckinghamshire area. As the Product Surveillance Officer you will be responsible for handling customer complaints and adverse events for all products.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Product Surveillance Officer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Support the Quality team by processing and investigating customer complaints through the QMS, following up with CAPAs when necessary.

2. Review medical files from both the laboratory and external sources to effectively investigate complaints and adverse events before performing risk assessment.

3. As the Product Surveillance Officer, you will support the management of Product Surveillance by reviewing adverse events and determining appropriate actions.

4. Support the Medical Quality System by maintaining documentation for training files, complaints, adverse events and vigilance reports.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Product Surveillance Co-ordinator we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a life science field (eg biology, chemistry, pharmaceuticals).

2. Proven experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with complaints handling and customer service.
