We work closely with a number of Schools in the Lancashire area and are currently recruiting for one School in particular in Leyland, Lancashire. The School caters specifically for pupils with SEMH Difficulties, ADHD, ASC, ODD and challenging behaviours. The pupils in attendance of this School can no longer remain in mainstream education, often due to their behaviour and many have been involved in gang crime, drug abuse, alcohol abuse and / or display very difficult behaviours. Some of the pupils may have been involved with the police and this role would be excellent experience for those looking for a role in youth justice in the future.

The candidate must be willing to work with pupils who are very challenging and be willing to undertake Team Teach training prior to the role commencing. The role is full time, School hours are 8.30am - 4pm Monday - Friday and candidates will likely work with pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis.

The School are looking for a full time, long term member of staff to help support the pupils both academically and emotionally.

Candidates will ideally have some experience working with children or adults who display difficult behaviours and an understanding of working with children with SEN.
