What do our Care Assistants do?
Supporting someone isn’t just personal care; it’s so much more.  As a Care Assistant you could be supporting individuals with swimming, assisting with the weekly shop, or even helping to administer the right medication.
Our Care Assistants are focused on active listening, meaningful engagement and ensuring people lead full, healthy and active lives.

 Green Lane is a supported living service for adults aged 18-35 with learning disabilities, autism spectrum conditions and associated mental health problems. The aim of the service is to reduce dependence on staff and provide the necessary skills for the individuals supported to thrive independently both inside and outside of the home, so that they might then be able to move on to greater independence in the future.
What experience do you need?
You don’t need to have experience to be a good Care Assistant. If you are caring, kind and want to work in a job that is genuinely rewarding, this is for you.
You’ll need to have great communication skills and be comfortable making decisions. A basic level of English and Math is also required.
